Instrument Refurbishment Program
· Do you need to clear clutter from your attic?
· Do you have a retired instrument in need of a new life?
· Do you wish to contribute to the musical education of our youth?
The Franklin Symphonic Council will help breathe new life into your musical instrument. The mission of the Council is “to promote participation, enjoyment, and appreciation of music and the arts for both children and adults in the community.” We will gladly accept gently used instruments that may need some repair. The Council will pay for the repairs and donate the refurbished instrument(s) to local schools. The schools will then provide the refurbished instruments with those students who wish to participate in school music ensembles but cannot afford their own instruments.
Contact us today to pass along your musical treasures. If you have instruments you feel are useful please contact Karen Sanders at (317)437.0631 to arrange for pick-up. Unfortunately, we cannot accept pianos.
